We’re back with a double feature of Oceans 8 and Hereditary! First, we break down yet another Joker movie featuring Jared Leto, and round out IT Chapter 2 casting with our news of the week. Then, as you can see listed below, we go over a BAJILLION movie trailers that were dumped this week.

Is Oceans 8 as bad as the all female Ghostbusters reboot? Or do they finally get a FEboot right? With a ridiculously stacked cast, hear our thoughts on this…sequel?

Finally, are you ready to not sleep for a while? Hereditary from A24 has been marketed as one of the scariest films of all time. We might not agree with yet another outlandish marketing claim by A24’s promotion team, but this is a movie that’s going to stick with us for many, many nights.

This week, GlitchCast receives an UPGRADE! Not really, but we do review the movie Upgrade, the sci-fi-horror-action-comedy-??? from Blumhouse starring ‘budget Tom Hardy’, Logan Marshall-Green. This is likely the last time we get to call him that, as our Tom Hardy cosplayer puts on a hell of a performance in a pretty fun film. Was this the perfect popcorn flick? Or a genre-confused mess? Tune in to find out!

This week, we review the origins story movie that nobody asked for: Solo! A troubled production, multiple directors, and actor swaps should have made this an absolute mess, but it was…fine? It’s looking like it might bomb at the box office, but word of mouth might help give it some legs. Hear our thoughts on yet another divisive story in the Star Wars saga, and the future of “Star Wars Stories”.

In other news: we talk Simon Pegg’s next movie, Bond 25, Shazam with Zachary Levi, and Liam Neeson joining the Men in Black. Also, The Expanse is saved, Sesame Street is suing, and Transformers movies might finally be dead!

It’s a Mothers Day mixup! A misunderstanding on this week’s chosen movie review led to us seeing different movies. We were treated to separate viewings of I Feel Pretty, starring Amy Schumer, and Life of the Party, starring Melissa McCarthy. Were those four hours worth it?

Before we get into that nonsense, we cover Bad Boys 3, A Quiet Place sequel, and a Monster Hunter movie starring Milla Jovovich and directed by her husband, AKA the guy who did all of those bad Resident Evil movies. It’s also TV show apocalypse, with shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mick, Last Man on Earth, The Inhumans, and more getting the ax. Some surprising renewals and shows back from the dead are discussed as well!

This week, there are legitimately no fun movies to review, so we thought we’d revisit the vulgar, immature, anti-hero Deadpool in preparation for DP2! We chronicle the long road to how Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool came to be, the drama surrounding the release, and the production troubles of DP2. Does Deadpool hold up on a rewatch? Is it as ridiculously funny, fresh, and bold as our ‘first time’? Will TJ Miller return for DP3? What happened to Tim Miller directing DP2? We break the fourth wall and answer all of this, and more.

Also of note: Is a Power Rangers vs. Transformers in the works now that Hasbro has acquired Power Rangers from Saban? Has Avengers: Infinity War made all the moneys? WTF does John Wick 3: Parabellum mean?

After 10 long years of build up, Thanos has finally arrived. The biggest cinematic event since Star Wars: The Force Awakens is here, and we’re here to talk about it. We breeze by news of the week and trailers this week as we were SO EXCITED to get the the meat of the episode: Avengers: Infinity War.

We try a new format for this review, as so much was going on in this movie, and the format may or may not have worked. Obviously, the non-spoiler review remains, but for the spoiler review we try to take you through the main plot points and break down our thoughts. As expected, this movie has some serious consequences, so we end the episode with a rapid fire section of Infinity War quips and funniest moments.
