  • Why Did You Start Doing 'The Work': Love, Loss & Purpose

What makes us finally decide to change our lives? And what happens when the reason we started is no longer the reason we continue?

In this deeply personal episode of Glo & Behold, Gloriane and Bradley share the unexpected experiences that led them into the world of personal growth, self-discovery, and what they affectionately call "The Work."

For Gloriane, it began with a growing sense that there had to be more to life. An unexpected tarot reading in Scottsdale opened the door to the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and a journey of discovering who she wanted to become.

For Bradley, it began with falling deeply in love—and the equally deep heartbreak that followed. He opens up about grief, depression, and the desperate pursuit of self-improvement that eventually gave way to something more meaningful: learning to grow for himself rather than for someone else.

Along the way, we explore the differences between passion, purpose, and devotion; how a conversation over a baked potato can spark profound reflection; and the wonderfully unlikely circumstances that brought us together at Lightning in a Bottle in 2018.

We also ask some bigger questions: Does personal growth always have to be painful? Can change come through joy, love, and community? And what if the periods when we're not actively working on ourselves are just as important as the breakthroughs?

Through honest stories, unexpected tangents, plenty of laughter, and a little guided breathwork, we explore how our relationship with personal growth has changed—and why learning to enjoy life along the way might be part of the work itself.

Because becoming who you want to be isn't always about doing more. Sometimes it's about trusting that change is possible and giving yourself permission to enjoy where you are.

  • The Courage to Be Seen: Our Opening Ceremony

What if you didn't have to feel ready to be seen? What if you could be afraid—and begin anyway?

In the very first episode of Glo & Behold, Gloriane and Bradley invite you into something more personal than a traditional podcast introduction: an opening ceremony filled with movement, laughter, honest intentions, and the vulnerability of stepping into the unknown.

We begin by getting out of our heads and into our bodies. Gloriane guides a playful, polarity-inspired movement and grounding practice, offering a simple opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and notice what changes when we bring awareness to the present moment.

From there, the conversation unfolds into something neither of us can fully script.

Gloriane shares her journey into polarity therapy, craniosacral therapy, meditation, and embodied living—and how curiosity, movement, and a little silliness have become central to her approach to life. Bradley brings a complementary perspective, exploring the intersection of personal experience, thoughtful skepticism, and the changes that can happen when we become willing to question what we think we know.

Together, we get honest about something many of us experience but rarely discuss openly: the fear of being seen.

The discomfort of hearing your own voice. The fear of judgment. The uncertainty of whether you have something valuable to share. The tension between wanting to grow and wanting to stay safely within what's familiar.

We also explore what it means to set intentions, support one another through uncertainty, and follow through on commitments when life inevitably gets complicated.

Along the way, you'll discover the story behind the name Glo & Behold, the friendship that inspired this podcast, and why we're choosing to share our conversations with the world.

This first episode isn't about having all the answers. It's about having the courage to ask meaningful questions, show up as we are, and create space for something new.

Because sometimes the most important transformation begins with a surprisingly simple decision: to stop hiding, allow ourselves to be seen, and take the first step.

Whether you're navigating a transition, exploring your relationship with yourself, or standing at the edge of something you've wanted to begin, we hope this conversation reminds you that you don't have to wait until you're perfectly prepared.

Come as you are. Bring your curiosity. Move a little. Laugh a lot. And discover what's possible when you give yourself permission to begin.
