Welcome back to Glo From The Inside Out. I am so happy you are here. In this week's solo episode I am chatting about shedding the old and stepping into this new year of the Fire Horse. We are stepping up and moving forward with power. But before we do that we really need to shed the old and focus on what we really want.

In this episode I chat through some journalling questions which really helped me focus on how I want this year to be. What I need to work on, how I want to be seen which is dancing all the time and what the season of life is telling me.

How important they are to fill your cup, how being lonely can really affect you. We are meant to connect because it enhances mental health, helps you deal with stress and promotes a more fulfilling life.

It's about finding those moments of magic, being able to be yourself, laughing so much your stomach hurts. Being kind to each other being there when the person is happy or sad. It's knowing you are loved and supported. 

It's my goal this year to keep those connections thriving and be surrounded by people who love me for me. I hope you do the same too.

Get your journal out and list all the things you can celebrate. Look at how amazing  you are. Next think about what didn't work and want you want to let go of. Maybe even burn that paper. Now look at what you want to achieve in 2026. Pick 3 goals.

Self love is so much deeper than surface level skincare. Its doing things for you even when days are hard, its about doing the inner work even when its uncomfortable. Because I promise you consistent work on yourself will be where the magic happens. 

It's creating rituals each day, putting down boundaries, taking those small intentional moments each and every day. Once you start even when it gets messy again you will see that glow and people will start to notice it. 

It will change the way you show up in all areas of your life.

In this week's solo episode I talk about how I literally forgot how to breath. I wasn't taking proper breaths, my breathing was totally out of alignment and it was causing me a lot of stress. Its the most basic of things but its something that a lot of us do when we are overwhelmed.

Self care starts with going back to basics and really looking after yourself through breath work and taking the time to properly breath. To come back to the present, to put yourself first, to take moments in the day for yourself to calm the nervous system.
