It's a wrap! Our final episode of season 1 is here & we're excited to end it on a high note by exploring the beauty and the struggles of Lebanon.
Sitting in front of a wonderful cedar tree in Vienna, I'm talking to Zahraa about hospitality, rich history, stunning nature and complex economical situation of her home country.
Lebanon is a country in the Middle East by the Mediterranean sea. It has everything a traveller could want - beaches, mountains, culture, friendly locals and great food.
However, in the recent years it's politic and economic situation has suffered a lot. Zahraa tells us about hyperinflation, corruption, unemployment and the huge diaspora of people who have moved abroad.
Through her stories we can learn about the resilience and beautiful character of Lebanese people.
So don't hesitate to listen to this episode & I hope that one day you'll get the chance to experience this warm and welcoming country with your own eyes.
