Last week we revealed and explored our first dirty word. The word was discipline. When the Lord disciplines his children it is from a place of love, not wrath. Biblical discipline points towards training and instruction. It can involve some punishment, but even the punishment and rebuke, but even these are administered from God's loving heart. His goal in training us is to release us into a place of abundant life. God trains us that we might "live large."
