Skrypt is a library of activities designed to energize your course with thinking, writing, and varied forms of assessing,
The Skrypt package includes 380 plus developed sources in American history, American women’s history, world history, western civilization, American government, and psychology. Professors can use our quizzes and polls with these sources or create on-site customized quizzes and polls, plus discussion boards. Alternatively, professors can assign our writing activities that go with the sources. And most exciting, Skrypt has enabled over 70 percent of these writing activities with our new AI Progressive Grading tool.
In all aspects of AI Progressive Grading, we make it clear to students that grades and comments are not final, only guiding the student in the right direction. The professor has the final approval, so we hide the AI grades in our gradebook. In the AI Professor Grading Site, the professor can see all of the submissions and the writing progress of each student and then add comments and edit grades, as desired. Once the professor is satisfied, he or she unhides the grades in our gradebook which then pass onto the LMS.
Patricia Don, co-founder of Globalyceum, would be happy to demo the new features of Skrypt for you. All you have to do is click on my digital calendar in this email and make a Zoom appointment calendly.com/patriciadon. You can consider adoption of Skrypt right up to the first day of class. Students can subscribe directly to the Globalyceum website with the free code we provide. At the end of the spring term, we provide a $50 Amazon gift card for instructor feedback. Thank you again.
