Leo Peng describes the MAS-i2 selective soldering system, equipped with two fluxers. A spray fluxer and a drop jet fluxer. They can be setup to top-up areas, or contain different fluxes for high-mix applications.

Anders Petersen describes a new microscope system from Tagarno. The system contains the latest SONY 4K technology and is hands-free. Powered by a Linux computer installed into the base of the unit, the microscope has virtually no latency. The lenses can be interchanged easily. Everything is attached magnetically without the need for any tools.

Arcadia demonstrated the Archimedes Smart Storage system. The reel sensors are built into a metal strip at the base of each reel bay, which the manufacturer claims is more reliable than switches or other methods.

The Redox tool from Plasmatreat removes oxide in an inline process. The system does not use flux and is performed under nitrogen using a formic gas.

The new printer from Panasonic has a 10 stencil automatic changeover to cater for the high-mix market. It also has an automatic paste changeover and a paperless cleaning system. The printer also has a viscosity meter which allows the operator to alter the temperature for optimum results.

BTU shows the new Aurora platform with programmable zones for flexible manufacturing. The system also comes with Aqua Scrub flux management incorporated and BTU's energy management system.
