A University scholarship led to the connection with a great coach who believed in Dave and who injected the self belief that Dave needed to pursue a pro football career.

His draft into the NFL was an interesting journey on it's own, and a subsequent move from sunny Southern California to rainy and cold Seattle to join the Seattle Seahawks brought with it a pathway to a new life.
