August 21 – Maggie Fouquet – International Business Circle

This week we focus on Canada and Colorado’s relationship. Canada is celebrating 150 years this year, and their relationship with several businesses and trade industries in Colorado has played a large role within those 150 years. Maggie Fouquet, President of International Business Circle, introduces us to Bill Graebel of Graebel Companies, and Debra Duke from MenoGenix.

Peter Moore, President and CEO of VITAL for Colorado, joins us to discuss the importance of energy production in our state along with Sarah Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer of COGA. We’ll discuss COGA’s upcoming 29th Annual Energy Summit. That’s next week, August 22-24.

Wrapping up our series on the impact of the legalization of marijuana in Colorado. We’ll talk with Dr. Sheryl Gonzalez Zeigler about the impact of marijuana on the developing brain as well as important facts that kids and parents need to know. She will also share tips for talking with your kids about marijuana and the real hazards on marijuana use in children.

We’ll talk with Abbey Brochers, Colorado’s Deputy Director of Marijuana Policy, about how marijuana sales may help our state. This week we focus on the impact of the legalization of marijuana in Colorado. We’ll look at how pets are affected with Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald, a well-known Denver veterinarian who recently published a peer review paper on Marijuana Toxicity in Dogs.
