Port Hardy, a small town on the northern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada has been experiencing a fierce war with suicide. Over the past two weeks there has been a death every day – 95% are First Nations. These deaths are believed to be caused either by suicide or drugs laced with fentanyl. We know also that this is not a lone case in Canada or the United States. The epidemic is worldwide and growing. Thus, this call for a situation room.
