Guest speaker Dr Sheree Trotter, the Director of the Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem which opened in 2024. She has an extensive background in her knowledge and higher education of the Holocaust and Antisemetism. She spoke with great wisdom counsel and insight into the need for educating the young indigenous generation. In the midst of worldwide propaganda, misinformation and the rise of antisemitism that has infiltrated the indigenous young embrace the lies being perpetrated by the media and social media due to their need for acceptance and desire to identify with their peers.They see Israel as the oppressors and the Palestinians as the oppressed. Therefore, they identify with the suffering.“We need to put a lot of energy into prayer, to be a voice, energy put into rallying our people, to move them in the right direction. Praying not only for our people, but also praying for Israel”.
