5 G's of Singleness

1. Gift "But I wish everyone were single, just as I am. Yet each person has a special gift from God, of one kind or another." 1 Corinthians 7:7 NLT
2. Guard "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭NLT‬
3. Get devoted "His interests are divided. In the same way, a woman who is no longer married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body and in spirit. 1 Corinthians 7:34
4. Good "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NLT‬
5. Give-"Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭55:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Wise waiting on Love ❤️

Boaz was the pursuer .

"The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord." ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬ . Boaz protects her . Boaz recognized her strengths . Boaz warned the men not to mistreat her .

Boaz recognized Ruth and what she had been for Naomi .

Boaz spoke blessing over her .

Ruth realized this is a God fearing man . She know she worthy and wife material . Ruth had character, compassion ,and courage .

She was know for her loyalty. . She was courageous enough to wait. . She was in the right place at the right time. . So while you are waiting or dating, Make sure to focus on building a relationship with Christ one that can be recognized by a man. . Guard your heart. Don't be going to a bunch of harvest fields Pray for the right places you should be. . Pray for your future spouse. . Pray for God fearing man not a Good man . Focus on spiritual growth. . Allow older women to speak into your life . Study the Proverbs 31 virtues .

Wait on the Lord .

"a woman who is no longer married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body and in spirit. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭7:34‬ ‭NLT‬‬

"Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance."

True love is always demonstrated by action.

Patient is long suffering. Endures for a long time

Kind -simple acts of kindness

Not jealous. Cain wanted Abels blessing and he killed for it

Boastful. Loving actions just to show off.

Pride "looking for glory" to look like love

Proud...self focused not needs of others has a big head

Behaving rudely

Not demand its own way-my way or the highway love looks at the interest of others

Provoked or irritated- sin not love. Kept Moses from the promised land

Keeps no record of wrongs- let it go !

Stands on the truth not injustice

Bear all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things

1 Peter 4:8 (CSB) Above all, maintain constant love for one another, since love covers a multitude of sins.

Spiritual maturity test put your name in this scripture to see how well you do

"I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul."

We are to be responsive to His unfailing love.

Be glad and rejoice..Jesus loves ME I don't need no one else

He sees our troubles, our hurts and our pain.

He knows when something is stressing us out

He knows our soul..loved me and cared for me

No one but Jesus can meet the needs of our soul

What is the soul? Self, life, creature, person, appetite, mind, living being, desire, emotion, passion

People may know you based on your outward demeanor, but the inside is only visible by Jesus.

So why do people claim to have a "soulmate" ? What if you and your "soulmate" break up, divorce then what do you no longer have a mate or a soul?

God knows our soul best=He is the soulmate

He loves those who love Him

""I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me."

Search out Him, sis

His love is unquenchable

"Many waters cannot quench love, nor can rivers drown it. If a man tried to buy love with all his wealth, his offer would be utterly scorned."

‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭8:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Them chocolates flowers and cards don't have nothing on His love

Nothing can separate us from His love

"Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?"

No matter what you have done,been through Jesus wants to be with You

He is indeed the lover of your soul. You are known loved cared

Romans 10:9-10

Ephesians 2:8

They had religion instead of relationship

If the message of Christ is near...why is so many far away?

Salvation is as close to your lips and your heart

Christ ended the law.. so stop checking boxes

If you confess... I agree with you God, I'm jacked up I need Jesus I need a savior I agree with you that Jesus died rose and is coming again

Not just that He exist but that He was resurrected

When we believe in your hearts, you are saved

• Faithful heart has fruit. Gal 5:22 constant, dependable, perseverance

Only the spirit can produce in us the want to stay in our faith, dependable and persevere through our trials

"But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,"

• Faithful heart is loyal

"Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart."

Inside and out. Character

• Faithful heart trust the Faithful God.

Noah Can God trust you with building something?

Abraham Can God send you to unfamiliar places?

Moses Can God trust you in the wilderness?

Job What if he takes everything from you ?

Daniel Can you walk in the dens of lions?

David Are you willing to walk up to your Goliath?

"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his faithful love endures forever."

"if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself."

A faithful heart remains no matter how big or small

• Trust the calling he has given
• Don't want no one else platform
• Use what you got and be faithful in that.
• Be responsible and then be rewarded

A faithful heart is blessed

"A faithful person will have many blessings, but one in a hurry to get rich will not go unpunished."

• Stay firm in your faith and you will be blessed. Slow and steady!

Why is prayer often connected with a thankful heart?

When you are thankful your focus is not on the problem.

"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done."

A thankful heart praises

"I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart; I will sing your praises before the gods."

A wicked heart

• Does not fear God (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭36:1‬, ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭14:1)
• Plots evil (‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭6:18‬, ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15:26‬)
• Speaks foolishness (‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:20‬, ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:32‬,‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭26:23‬)

The Healthy Heart confess and believes

"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation."

The Healthy Heart is New

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."

The Healthy Heart is Obedient

The Healthy Heart loves God, serves God, loves the people of God

Deuter 10:12-13

"And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?"

If your heart is not in right relation with God, you are not in right relation with anyone else

The Healthy Heart Seeks God

"But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or his stature because I have rejected him. Humans do not see what the Lord sees, for humans see what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.""

• Do not look on the outside.
• God doesn't see what we see, He see the heart
• David was cute inside and out.
• David was a man after God's heart

1Timothy 2:9

"And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do."

• Devotion to Christ not Clothes (appearance)

Don't judge a person based on what you see.

Only God can judge because he sees the heart.

Focus on the inside, out will follow. Glow up!
