Declared free — but are you living like it? In this Independence Day–inspired message, Pastor Thomas Kulp of Horizon Church (Bosque Farms, New Mexico) unpacks what it really means to make your own Declaration of Freedom in Christ. Just as the colonies didn't negotiate with the king but declared independence, followers of Jesus can tell sin and Satan: "I am no longer subject to you."

Pastor Thomas gets honest about the trap so many Christians fall into — wanting the salvation of Jesus while still wanting to live life their own way. Can you keep sinning just because grace covers it? In this episode of the Glorify & Grow podcast, Pastor Thomas Kulp of Horizon Church (Bosque Farms, New Mexico) walks through Romans 6 and Paul's piercing question: "Should we let sin increase so that grace can increase? Surely not."

Using memorable, everyday analogies — speed limits and "death ray" traffic cameras, four-way stops, borrowed restaurant pens, and self-checkout mistakes — Pastor Thomas exposes the "wiggle room" theory so many of us live by: the habit of moving our own bull's-eye and justifying the sin we know we should surrender.
