Our society has allowed pain to be subtly glorified and accommodated in our daily lives and affairs. "Everybody has certain level of pain or suffering they are going through so you should be 'grateful' that yours is 'small'". Pain isn't something that we should be comfortable with and we shouldn't have to suffer before getting things.
