Women With Questions

Glorious Inefficiency?

Listen Later

In today's episode, Carrie and Jamie ask questions about the idea of "efficiency." Our culture seems to place a high value on making things run as smoothly, quickly, and with as least interference as possible, but is that always a good thing? When everything is viewed as a process to be streamlined, do we lose something worth more than the time we save? Can pushing back against our desire to make everything more efficient actually enhance out lives? They consider these questions and more as they seek to understand if there might be a better way. Would pursuing a "glorious inefficiency" in some areas cultivate more of what we truly long for? Thank you for joining us for this conversation!
