This conversation started with homeschooling and somehow ended up exposing a whole lot more. 😂
Taylor and Latty talk about changing educational paths, trying to find new family rhythms, marriage feeling a little like sandpaper, and those moments when motherhood forces you to stop and ask, “What exactly am I spilling over onto everyone around me?”
From there, we get into the battle happening in our minds: perfectionism, pity parties, anxious thoughts, the pressure to get everything right, and how easily we can say we trust God while still trying to control every outcome.
We talk about the cost of following Christ, the spiritual disciplines that help redirect our thoughts, trusting God with our children, and learning that real rest isn’t found when everything finally falls into place—it’s found when we abide in Him.
Because what we behold, we become. And sometimes the chaos is exactly what God uses to show us where He’s still refining us.
Jesus is the prize—even here.
