It's another exciting week in the Vibes community, week 8, and I'm glad to make it to this week, it has been an amazing experience since this competition started, bringing music lovers from all over the world to share a common space, big shout out to the founder of this community and all the supporters, this is a success story, bringing joy to people's heart on the blockchain.

I've been a huge beneficiary of this contest because it has helped me revive my passion for music, as a singer who aspires to learn and get better each day, also listening to all you amazing artists has inspired me a lot.

Today, I'm presenting the cover of a song by music diva Beyonce, titled "Halo", to be frank, it has been a bit tasking scoring this song, but still, I'm not one to give up, as I made sure to put in my best. I'm a Beyonce fan and Halo is one of my favorite songs of hers, I love everything about this wrong, the powerful vocal control, the lyrics, and fire 🔥 beats all blended to this masterpiece.

For this week's entry, I did a cover of my favorite artist's song which some of you already know, none other than the talented Asa, whose unique voice and meaningful and deep lyrics never fails to make you have a relaxing moment with deep thoughts about life when her lyrics speak to your soul. the song is titled "No One Knows Tomorrow" Truly, no matter how wise someone is or thinks he or she can tell the future, they can only but guess, which shows that we will always be under a superior power that knows tomorrow, so we should be guided by what we do today, taking the wrong step may have a negative influence on our tomorrow, same as positive actions,

some might argue that weather forecasters are good at telling what the weather will be like tomorrow, but all still fall under guesses, we've already witnessed the change in the seasons in recent times, and it is no longer as predictable as before, so let's make the best of today for a better tomorrow.

Today, I will be presenting the cover of a song I first heard from an interesting movie I watched titled "Pitch Perfect" which I later found out was sung by the song artist **Jessie J**, titled **Flash Light** I so much love the song because of it's cool and has a special meaning to me, and when listened to, its lyrics also has a calming effect, knowing that you've got someone who would be there for you in the dark moment so you don't have to be scared and what better description than a flashlight, a small device but performs a significant function, lightning our path in the dark so we don't hit our leg against a stone.

As a Christian, I would also like to refer to my creator as my flashlight, God is light when you have him in your life, you can be rest assured that in our down and dark times, he will surely light our path, lyrics speaks to us differently, and here I found meaning.

So excited to make it to the Vibes Web3 music competition week 4, it's been an amazing moment, going through all the wonderful and talent-filled entries so far, thanks to @lordbutterfly for setting a perfect music concert on the blockchain through this community, if you ever feel bored, down or just need a good vibe to uplift your spirit, don't forget we've got a lot of uplifting activities going on here in this wonderful community dominated by talented artist, I'm sure you already know that by now, or in case you are coming across Vibes for the first time, be rest assured that you've gotten yourself at the right place for a more entertaining and fulfilled moment.


Today, I decided to do a cover by R-Kelly titled "Storm is Over" I grew up listening to this song at a very young age, my dad was an RnB music lover, so he had all these old school music with the vibes on repeat every day, and I can't even recall learning the lyrics to some of those songs, I guess listening to them every time made it stick and also became my favorite as well.

Apart from the "The Storm is Over" being a cool music with its soothing and melodious soundtrack, I also find it's lyrics motivating, as humans, we are bound to face storms of life, with this song, I'm reminding you today that no storm last forever, it will be over, so don't lose hope, keep giving your best in whatever you do, soon, you would see the light at the end of the tunnel. Welcome to another wonderful episode of Creative Sunday, a place where we share our creative talents, and today I will be sharing with us the making process of my favorite meal as a child, and guess what, it still Is.

It's not other than waterleadad porridge, also known as "ekpang" in my local dialect, what I love about this meal the most is its sumptuous taste, if you are looking out for that meal that every flavor comes alive on your taste bud, look no further than water yam porridge, no wonder it has my heart captivated for three decades now, another amazing thing I love making this meal is how cost-efficient it is, especially with the current inflation, which has most people sacrificing healthy diet for junk, all ingredients used in making ater yam porridge are very affordable as you will see, and doesn't require you breaking the bank, apart from that, it is very filling, so it is all in on package, nutrient filled, you can refer to water yam porridge as a balanced diet.

Without further ado, let's get down to the making process, starting with the

**Water yan porridge Recipe**


* Water yam

* Smoked fish(you can use other protein sources of your choice, meat, cow skin, fresh fish etc)

* Crayfish

* Periwinkle

* pepper

* Seasoning

* Salt

* Palm oil

* Scent/Basil leaf etc

**Cooking Process**


* I added 2 cups of water into the pot to boil, the measurement depends on the quantity of water yam

* Next, I washed all the ingredients, also blended the crayfish, and added all into the pot of boiling water,


* It is better to prepare ingredients before you start cooking, I peeled and cut the water yam into big chunks before grating or you could use a blender, but I prefer my local method, lol


* When the pot of water with the ingredients starts boiling, You can begin adding the blended water yam can in small balls, this is to make sure that it cooks evenly and properly, after which you cover the pot for about 6 minutes and let it cook.

* Check and make sure the water yam is cooked, then finally add the sliced scent leaf and palm oil alongside, stir well to make sure the ingredients are evenly distributed to all corners. You can now cover the pot and switch off the gas let it simmer for a few minutes before you serve.

Finally, my long overdue first entry for the vibes web3 music competition comes to life, I'm glad to have made it to week 3, it's been an amazing moment watching every singer pour in their beautiful entries, rhythm, and soul into it, I guess it's time for me to leave warming the bench and grab the mic too, which I'm also excited about.


I want to use this medium to send a huge shootout to @lordbutterfly for making the vibes community a reality bringing singers from all around the world, to express their art and also showcasing the beauty of web3, I feel like I'm in an actual concert when I'm the vibes community, thank you for all you do.

My chosen song for this week's entry is "Knock you down" by Kerry Hillsong, I decided to do the cover of this song because it was one of the first few songs that developed my interest for music, the rhythm captivating my heart the first time I heard it played also the lyrics, even when I knew nothing about the type of love she sang about then, it gave me a different interpretation, that no matter how hard life knocks you down, make sure to get back up because you are strong, isn't that the beauty of music, it speaks to every soul and brings much satisfaction to the listener.

In a world where people are not sure of what tomorrow brings, the prices of food and other basic commodities skyrocketing daily, yet salaries/income remains the same, or even lesser, electricity isn't supposed to be an issue in this time and how technology has evolved, so I thought, yet for some days now we've experienced a total blackout, a regression from the erratic power supply we constantly face, how do we cope? Fuel is not even affordable to power the generators we aren't supposed to have in the first place.

Thinking about all my country people are forced to face, breaks my heart, I almost couldn't make an entry today due to this same electricity issue, I know I said Happy Sunday but the countries incapable leaders make it a sad one for us, imagine where I took my phone to get charged this morning at 11:30 am, only to get it back by 5 pm and it had just 10% how annoying, 360° by Asa is my chosen song to cover for today's creative Sunday, whenever I'm under stress, sad, and just feel down in general, her voice has a soothing way of bringing calm to my soul, not just her voice but more importantly her lyrics which speaks meaning to the Nigerian in distress, let's keep hoping, **All will be well!**.Her words pierce through powerlessness, comforting me that our resilience as a people persists no matter how much light gets extinguished externally. i hope you do enjoy listening to my Acapella version of 360°.
