Have you had moments of greatness? Did you reach your goal and did you get rewarded for it? Hear about Cora's reward for graduating from law school, a paid trip to Egypt to see the pyramids. She and her friend Jackie travel up the Nile River and roam inside the Tomb of King Tut only to realize that this amazing goal was accomplished by using two old, tried and true rules theorized many, many years ago. You'll hear that by following these two rules led Cora to be climbing these Great Pyramids back in 1983, just a few days after her law school graduation. She was enjoying her finest "moment of greatness".
Have you ever wanted to climb the highest mountain in Panama? That seems like a crazy ambition, but it seemed so easy to us, as Panama is only a couple hours flight from Florida, so why not? We booked a weekend in the tiny mountain town of Boquete and set off to achieve our goal. But, as we climbed higher and higher we saw some of the most amazing views we had ever seen in the world, we felt cool, clean air and we drank pure water from clear, rapid-flowing natural springs. We ended up turning around and going back into the tiny mountain town of Boquete, Which ended with us staying in Boquete for over 15 years. Without using this important Rule #19, this would never have been possible.
David and I had been to Europe several times before, but this time was different. We took our grand daughter to Paris, London and Amsterdam, and we enjoyed seeing France, England and Holland through the eyes of a 14 year old. It would be impossible to describe all the fun we had visiting such places as the Eiffel Tower, the Tower of London, or riding the canals of Amsterdam. We rode the chunnel back and forth from France to England and we tried to write and to draw in our logs every day. My vision board was amazing, and it all came true.
Have you ever wanted to walk around the world? It can be done, you know!
I met a man named John whose goal is to walk around the world during his lifetime. And - he is doing it! David and I walked with John and his family for 6 days across Croatia, so I know what it's like to be part of fulfilling a dream. I learned from John his secret to achieving his goal, and you'll find it easy to do, just get into action!
Come with me and let's go to Croatia and take part in this amazing adventure with John.
Have you ever been invited to an English wedding in England? It is an amazing event, with everyone dressed in formal British garb and the bride and groom arriving at the church by horse and carriage. David and I were very special guests to this elaborate wedding, two of 50 other guests invited to come all the way from Panama to England for this lavish, 3-day extravaganza. We were guests of the groom, and he had a very special way of making his new neighbors in the small mountain town of Boquete extremely happy. You'll see what it was like to be "wined and dined" the way it's done by the super rich, and you'll learn why happiness is so important to anyone seeking to become rich, really rich.
Today, you'll hear about my most passionate adventures while climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain peak on the continent of Africa. David and I carefully planned and executed this amazing feat at ages 66 and 64, which was a record-breaking experience, not thought to be possible at the time. We trained, we shopped and we dieted to become world-class mountain climbers, and at the same time we learned a very important rule about how achievement happens, sometimes without you even knowing it.
This week we go to Antarctica, the final continent we needed to visit on our quest to see the world. It's way down south and the only way we could find to get there was to take a luxury cruise, one that was available only one time per year. Why not? We were serious about achieving our goals, we already knew how to control our thoughts, and we knew so many of the rules that help everyone to achieve the success they want, that we booked the cruise to Antarctica, we just had to do it. And, when we expressed our goals to friends, it was amazing how many good things happened for us, and how good things happened to so many other people.
Time waits for no man, and that is certainly true for anyone or anything, as we learned during our 13-country trip around Europe. The plan was to finally visit every single country on the continent and to stay a month in a luxury apartment in the center of Rome to use as our base. Not only did we find fabulous digs in the center of Rome, but friends came with us to share the rent! We flew in and out of Montenegro, Cypress, Lampadusa and Albania, just to name a few out-of-the-way countries we visited. Everything was timed perfectly and we pulled off this monumental feat with only a couple "glitches" we managed to surmount. Come and see how we did it, you'll enjoy our trip and you'll learn how we used out time wisely.
Today's episode includes renting a 3-bedroom apartment in Rome for the entire month of October, so that we could visit the 13 countries in Europe we had never visited before. Believe me, I needed to go the extra mile to plan how in the world we get to all these faraway countries in one trip. You'll learn how I booked strategic flights that gave us visits to 4 northern countries without needing to pay extra to stop over in them for a few days. From the Arctic Circle to Lapedusa to Turkey Cypress, we hit them all, and we found it easy to work through our schedule, especially when we used Rule #12 to guide us. What fun we had!
If you want to become a millionaire, I have found that the quality of how you spend your time and money are very important. As I've traveled the world, the quality of lifestyles, values, investments and so many aspects of life have made a huge difference in the success I've achieved over my many years of living. Travel with me to Japan and you'll see how such a faraway culture made such an impression on me as to my ability to identify real quality when I see it. I hope you learn to look at quality in a new way, a way that leads to riches in your life.
