This week Aaron and Zach discuss a lot of news in Wyoming. They kick off the show with celebrity news around Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx and rapper Kanye West. They cover the Occidental Land Purchase and what it means for Wyoming residents. Was it a blessing in disguise? They big topic of the day was Gov. Mark Gordon's announcement of a $57 Million Grant to the University of Wyoming that saw enrollment spike as students could request they be given a potion of the grant if they showed they were adversely affected by COVID-19. On this special interview, Aaron sits down with former Miss Wyoming Cheyenne Buyert. They discuss what it's like to be a campaign manager for a Wyoming House District Representative, wedding planning during COVID-19 and what it means to have grown up in Sheridan, WY. 

Cheyenne discusses her entrepreneurial ambitions and experiences as Miss Wyoming competing for Miss USA. Also, gives a heartfelt message about living in Wyoming and gives a strong case for taking risks and find opportunities! 

Aaron and Zach discuss the primary election results beginning with the mayor race in their hometown of Sheridan. They move to city council and the county positions and then discuss state representative elections across the state. There were a couple big upset elections and a few incumbents were ousted as well. One point that we wanted to clarify was that, although Rich Bridger won the primary election for Sheridan Mayor against Roger Miller, Roger Miller can and will still run for Mayor in the general election. Rich Bridger won the primary and not the office as a whole.

Aaron sits down with Sheridan City Council Candidate Thomas Kelly, a recent Colorado/Illinois transplant running for one of the three open Council Member positions. They discuss Tom's time on the Planning Commission, his career as a Professor with the American Military University, juggling 6 kids and how Sheridan reminded him of "Silvertown" (Joe Dirt reference 11:16). Aaron and Zach talk about the U.S. Senate race for Wyoming. Senator Mike Enzi has decided not to seek re-election and several candidates from Wyoming are looking to take his place. The two front runners are Cynthia Lummis and Brian Miller. Aaron and Zach take a close look at the two front runners and analyze some of their strongest stances.
