Typically, GCY is all about Chuck saving the world, but, this week, we're all about the world saving Chuck. 

Join us as we celebrate the "Save Chuck" Movement and discuss the various fan efforts that successfully brought Chuck back from the brink of cancellation (and maybe reminisce about some of your own)! Revelations abound in this episode as Chris realizes that he is the “Subway Manchurian Candidate” and Erin realizes that she may have inadvertently helped save Chuck. Also: hear the actual letter fifteen-year-old Chris wrote to NBC when he found out Chuck hadn’t been renewed for Season 3 (spoiler alert: something in the show “made him feel like he could fly”). This week we're putting on our capes and flying from Burbank to Philly to discuss everyone's favorite non-holiday, holiday-themed Zachary Levi vehicle, SHAZAM! After a brief discussion of how the blockbuster came to be and how Mr. Levi got himself involved with it, our hosts note the similarities between Chuck and Shazam, while Erin belittles a mighty wizard's recruiting strategy and Chris reveals that he is qualified (and willing) to be a superhero. It’s Veterans Day, and we TOTALLY planned to acknowledge that with our timely release of “Chuck Versus the Colonel.” As season two heads toward an exciting climax (unlike Chuck and Sarah...zing!), Chris is the only one to remember a “classic” Chuck catchphrase, Erin wants you to know she attended the Austin Film Festival, and there’s an odd amount of talk about PT Cruisers... Also, Erin was in Austin recently, taking part in the local film festival. Atten-hut to our discussion of this penultimate episode!
