Today we looked at one of the most iconic battles in Scripture - David vs. Goliath. We were reminded that giants still show up in our lives. They may not carry swords, but they can still paralyze us with fear, doubt, or insecurity.
“You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord.” (1 Samuel 17:45)
David didn’t win because he was the strongest - he won because he was prepared and he knew who was fighting for him.
Sometimes, the only one who believes you can win… is you.
But if God is in you, that’s all you need.
✅ Name your Goliath.
✅ Be ready when the battle shows up.
✅ Silence the critics and stand firm in your calling.
✅ And trust that God will use what was meant to destroy you to develop you.
Preparation in the quiet places is what brings victory in the public ones.
You don’t wait until the battle to build your faith, you train now. Because the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you.
