This week Daniel and Fili discuss the creation of the Earth, the purpose of the description of the the creation process and why it is important to know why God made the Earth and all of us on it.

This year begins with...the beginning...like the literal creation! In this episode Daniel and Fili discuss the many lessons about the Plan of Happiness that can be learned from the visions of the Prophets Moses and Abraham as outlined in the Pearl of Great Price and how God established the foundation of His plan since before the creation of the Earth and has carried it on throughout all time until our day.

In this episode we've decided to combine two lessons into one. The main reason is that we feel these go so well together. The Articles of Faith serve as a brief snapshot into our core and foundational beliefs, the Official Declarations build upon those beliefs by outlining changes that occurred at different points in Church history, and The Family: A Proclamation to the World also reinforces many of the Articles and the reasons behind the Declarations.

In this episode Daniel and Fili discuss the martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith and the effects that it had on the early saints. They also discuss the preparations to move westward and what it teaches us about handling crises in our lives.

This week Daniel and Fili talk about what it means to prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The also talk about the importance of understanding the relationship between religious freedom and the institutions of government to uphold them.

This week Daniel and Fili discuss the fact that the Lord will never  seek to deceive us, the importance of gaining knowledge and experience  while in this life, and the importance of an eternal marriage under the  new and everlasting covenant. They also briefly discuss the history of  polygamy in the church, what purposes it served, and the important  doctrinal truths found in Section 132 that still fully apply today in a  post-polygamy church.

In this episode, Daniel and Fili discuss what it means to trust in the Lord that blessings and challenges are all for our good, the importance of following the Lord and his representatives on Earth with humility, and the fact that the Lord has a better view of our big picture, much like He had for the early Saints as the church grew and developed.

This week Daniel and Fili discuss the Kirtland Temple dedication and its importance to the early Saints. They also discuss President Russell M. Nelson's discourse "The Temple and Your Spiritual Foundation" as given in the Sunday Morning Session of General Conference on October 3, 2021, and how it ties to the lessons learned from D&C 109 & 110.

In this episode Daniel and Fili discuss the situations with Warren Cowdery as he seeks a leader for his congregation and is called to BE that leader, and Lyman Sherman as he seeks to understand what the Lord expects of him and how his promised blessings will come from his service. They also discuss the Priesthood principles and organization as outlined in Section 107.
