Dr. Sue shares her incredible story of how she got involved with the Parish Twinning program in Haiti. Her courage and care to go to Haiti over thirty times to serve and share Christ's love is inspirational. By her efforts and others in her parish, two totally different parishes have had a blessed relationship for over twenty years.

Fr. Sands reflects on the readings in the context of his work helping local African American and Native American communities spread the Good News and address pressing needs in their urban parishes and on reservations. He belongs to three tribes: Ojibway, Odawa, and Potawatomi. Now a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit, he grew up in a First Nations community on Walpole Island in Ottawa and was part of the reconciliation efforts between First Nations peoples and the Vatican.
