Cristen and Gabe Maroney are doing exactly this right now. Gabe is a Montessori School Teacher and Cristen is a Jewelry Designer. They have 3 kids and I caught up to them RIGHT when they were pulling the ripcord out of their normal lives in Austin.

4 days after this interview, they were beginning their 6 month journey in an Airstream trailer traveling the western United States in search of a new place to live.

Gabe had just quit his teaching career and they had converted an Airstream into their home on wheels and Cristen's showroom so she could continue to sell her jewelry and high-quality, handmade good by her artists. They are in search of a new life with a slower pace but with that decision, they are leaving behind all of their family and friends in Austin.
