InfoComm is the largest professional audiovisual technology conference in the United States and it returned to Las Vegas from June 4-10. The show started early for attendees who signed up for special conferences, educational sessions, media and exhibitors setting up on the show floor. The official show kicked off on June 8 with a ribbon cutting in the west hall.
Pro AV industry professionals gathered in Las Vegas Convention Center North and West show floors to preview hardware and software production solutions, attend meetings, catch up at networking events, and even left the property to experience immersive behind the scenes experiences.
You can check out some of those experiences and How'd They Do That series on YouTube. LINK: https://youtu.be/24ghCLM7XHk
The show welcomed nearly 20k attendees from around the US and from more than 110 countries.
And everyone was excited to be together again to check out the latest trends and audio and video and learn how we can work together now that the world has opened up again. You could feel the excitement walking through the show room floor as crowds were gathering looking at product demonstrations asking questions on how they can upgrade our own workflows and help clients with creating better virtual and in person meetings, classes, virtual tours, sports and entertainment experiences and hybrid events.
I myself stuck close to the Roland booth which was in the north hall and they were showcasing six solution stations that featured a new direct live streaming hardware solution, hybrid event workflows, sports and esports production devices, content creation products, single operator production, and a video light conversion device that allows a DJ, musician or entertainment venue to have the lights match the music - creating a fully immersive experience.
522 exhibitors showcased innovative pro AV products. The leaders of the exhibition that is produced by the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) had this to say…
“InfoComm is the only place in North America where the entire ecosystem of the pro AV industry gathers – from manufacturers to distributors to integrators to end users,” said David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of AVIXA.
“This week has been a celebration of and for our industry – from the trade show floor to the AVIXA council events to our educations sessions,” said Rochelle Richardson, CEM, Senior Vice President of Expositions and Events, AVIXA.
