The guys are pumped and fired up for the new season. After a Jack Johnson drink out of the gate, the guys reflected on the passing of former Rangers Coach John Muckler and his time with the franchise. KD and Paulie then jumped into the reports from tonight's first Rangers scrimmage, thoughts on it not being streamed, talked lineups, training camp battles, defensive pairings, problems with players names, decisions for Coach Quinn, the Captaincy, size and toughness of the team, Brian Boyle thoughts, the performance of Rangers prospects in the World Juniors and congrats to USA win, the Wolfpack schedule, Paulie and KD's Shesty .vs Georgiev battle, KD's Dek Hockey season start and announce the return of KD's Rangers Mancrush this season.

They also had some fun with the idea that the league should look into eliminating a couple of franchises and the proposed 2021 divisions.

KD and Paulie opened up with latest NHL and NHLPA rumblings regarding upcoming season, the good and the bad rundown on RetroReverse sweaters released by all 31 NHL teams with an obvious focus on the Rangers new Liberty offering and the Zibanejad Captain tease, which ultimately lead to a full on return to the vacant captaincy for the Rangers and narrow down their picks.

The guys then focused on hypothetical trades the Rangers may or may not want, need or be able to make next season, the difficulty of being a GM and all scenarios involved in pulling a move with cap concerns, specific positions and upcoming available UFA's in 2022.
