  • Episode 9 - Julia Grunewald
    Welcome to Episode 9.

This week I interview Julia Grunewald who comes to product management from a different angle but one that totally makes since once she talks about it.

We talk about how the successful product manager checks their ego at the door and leans on the customer to tell them what they need.

How using the language of the customer can unlock some really interesting discoveries and the key is to listen for what the customer is looking to accomplish rather than what they ask for.

Julia Grunewald is the Product Manager for Tanium Risk. Previously, she has worked on products for cyber insurance and third party risk management. She is passionate about security and privacy.

In this special episode, I speak to Tim Bremm of Honeywell. We discuss what you will learn in his session and it really thinks differently about automation. Below is the description of his session as well as a link to it on the Teanium Converge website.
Previous to using Tanium there was no automation in place to allow end users to configure their own patching options. By using ServiceNow as the front end, we built out a set of variables that server owners can configure in ServiceNow to configure different aspects of patching.
