Can we really be only months from selecting someone for their second terms

Both sides are certain neither will live it out, but end up

food for the worms

There’s a daily circus if you really want to see

Gotten to the point where it just sickens me

One with the rod of Asclepius held high and his Greenwood bible gripped firm

Proclaims innocence from all, charges be damned, he wants a second term

The other tries to look and sound like he’s still a better

pick

He’s got no lawsuits hanging over and his belly ain’t as

thick

With the left and right at each other’s throats, America

sits like puppets juxtapositioned

Cable shows, pointing fingers ,waving signs; we want to see those schmucks imprisoned

Cue the painted joker with all the answers, so long as you

read the scripted questions

There’s a box on the wall for ideas to improve, but no slot for you to put your suggestions

Yes it’s months away but it will be on every channel all day

and night until that day

Seems like more than ever you need to educate yourself on the changes in the USA

Will we be a leaner, meaner fighting machine with no room for the poor huddled masses?

Selectively choosing who can come through the door, and dividing us all into classes?

Limiting your choices, quelling alternative voices; picking

your God and deciding your fate?

We only teach American in school now, kiss the ring of the

fool, educate fast, cause that’s your fate

Dictator, iron fist, sexist, racist, egotistical fool

Buddies up with leaders who treat his people cruel

Yes the election is coming, November she is racing across

time and before she’s done

We will either be celebrating freedom and dancing, or

cowering from what has just begun...
