This is the first episode of Go With Nugget for Kids, a new travel podcast for curious kids, where we explore different countries and cultures. Each episode, we meet a local kid from around the world and hear firsthand what it’s like to grow up where they live.
Today, we meet Clive, a 9-year-old boy in Swakopmund, Namibia, who is taking us on an incredible journey of his hometown and the surrounding Namib Desert. We learn about Clive’s home, his school and his favorite food. Clive also tells us about the animals in the desert and shares with us what it’s like to run down one of the largest dunes in the world! Special thanks: This episode would not have been possible without Clive and his family who worked with us through technical difficulties and rowdy cousins to get this wonderful account of what it’s like to live next to the Namib desert. Thank you so much!
