On this episode of Real Estate Talk I am having a conversation with Amanda Kinkade. She is a broker within the commercial real estate space. I am excited to be speaking with Amanda today about the commercial side of real estate and jump beyond the borders of residential real estate.
Amanda has her own commercial real estate company called Kinkade Commercial Real Estate. She has had the company for about two years now. Prior to working in the commercial space, Amanda worked in the residential space. During this episode we’ll discuss that transition and what it was like walking into a world that is historically male-dominated.
Today we will also chat about leasing and sales, the importance of patience and renting vs buying as a business owner. Amanda has done both leasing and sales and has a great deal of knowledge that she shares with us.
If you’re looking to purchase space for your business, make sure to consider that you need to be in business for at least two years and have financial documentation showing gain, not loss. Amanda will also give us insight into the benefits of using a commercial broker, trends in office space, legal zoning and how build out works.
