Goat Level Podcast

It's good to be back on the mic! Spoke a lot about NFL preseason news. Laughed at my NFC East rivals. I got into Shedeur Mania. I also got into some fantasy football talk. The Nats suck but I'm still going to the games and believing in the young talent. The Mystics' direction is clear after their latest moves and they're still in the playoff race.

The MLB all-star game and home run derby was dope. Cal Raleigh is having a special year. Still trying to figure out what the Nats are doing but belief in the young players is strong. NBA dynasties or parity? that is the question. I congratulate OKC on the title. I talked about the draft, specifically the wizards and the direction they are headed. The Mystics are mid but I'm excited about their rookies. More 2013 Seahawks vs 2024 Eagles talk. Jalen Hurts MVP bet is not a bad one to take.

Recorded this episode on two different days. Talked about the latest WNBA standings and the return of Caitlin Clark. Talked a little bit about the NBA Finals. Discussed my latest Nats experience. Checked in on DC pro soccer teams. DC Defenders went BTA on the Michigan Panthers. The Desmond Bane trade is wild but somehow a lesson in faith. I concluded by discussing a hypothetical 2024 Eagles vs 2013 Seahawks matchup.

Catching on some things such as the NBA draft lottery, the NFL schedule release, the Caps lost again. Tush push issue shouldn't be a thing. Giannis might be leaving Milwaukee. The NBA playoffs is interesting. On paper, the 2024 Eagles aren't a top 5 team of all-time but if the game was played in real life, I'd like their chances against most of these legendary teams. The Mystics are ahead of schedule.

Started off by summarizing the NBA playoffs as best I could. George Pickens going to the Cowboys is interesting, but it might not matter in the end. I gave my NFL draft thoughts. I'm just as hype for the RFK remake as everyone else. The NFL draft in DC seems like a dream but could be a traffic nightmare when it actually happens. I discussed Derek Carr's retirement. I gave my stories about the latest Nats games I went to. Hope the Caps complete the revenge tour.

The Warriors vs Grizzlies is insane. RIP Kyren Lacy. Happy for Rory. Blessed that Ovi broke the record for the Capitals. The men's final four was way better than the women's final four. NBA front offices are crazy. I gave NBA playoff predictions. I ran into Ohio State's football team at the Lincoln memorial. Excited about the Mystics rebuild. 2023 Eagles or 2007 Giants?

In this episode, I started off with discussing big moves by OU men's and women's basketball. I talked about the NCAA tournament, especially my visit to Cleveland. The Memphis Grizzlies fired their coach and I don't understand why. Stephen A vs Lebron is unbelievable and I can't believe this is real life. I also have some debate questions at the end.

In this episode, I start off by discussing the Deebo Samuel trade. Darius Slay might be leaving once again. OU men's basketball is on the bubble and it's not looking good. OU women's basketball, however, is trending in the right direction. The Buddy Hield era was a lot of fun but ended horribly. I want to see Cleveland vs OKC in the NBA finals. I like the direction the Wizards are headed, despite the losses. I knew nothing about Lamont Roach until after the fight. I overlooked the importance of the Tank vs Roach fight but I won't the next time!

I spent most of this episode talking about the Eagles and their super bowl run. I talked about how this team was assembled and dishing out "I told you so's". I talked about the Super Bowl game itself, the halftime show and the parade. I also look ahead to next year, hoping its not a repeat of 2025. All-Star weekend wasn't as bad as people made it out to be in my opinion. I concluded by looking ahead to March Madness, talking about sleepers and potential champions.

Taking a victory lap from the conference championship. I also gave my super bowl preview. Some crazy NBA trades and WNBA offseason moves. OU women's basketball had a good finish vs LSU but ultimately, the team needs work if they want to go far in the tournament. The capitals are actually good this year and I'm happy!
