📖 Prophecy Written Long Ago
We begin by revisiting the promise spoken through the prophet in the Book of Habakkuk — that though the vision may seem slow, it will surely come to pass, not delayed by a single day.
History moves in cycles. Empires rise. Empires fall. And Revelation 18 describes the fall of “Babylon the Great” — an evil system built on corruption, luxury, deception, and spiritual immorality.
In this episode, we examine how the fall of Rome foreshadowed a future global system — and how Revelation 18 describes the sudden collapse of that empire.
Merchants mourn. Leaders tremble. Wealth vanishes in a single hour.
Babylon falls.
👑 The Wedding Feast of the Lamb
Revelation 19 shifts from judgment to celebration.
Heaven rejoices. The great prostitute is judged. The corruption is exposed. And the time arrives for the wedding banquet of the Lamb.
We connect this to prophecy in the Book of Isaiah, where a great feast is prepared on Mount Zion and death is swallowed up forever.
We also revisit Christ’s parable in the Gospel of Luke about the great banquet — and the warning not to refuse the invitation.
This is not merely symbolic. It is prophetic.
⚔️ Christ the Conquering King
Revelation 19 reveals Christ on a white horse — Faithful and True — King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
We discuss the battle of Armageddon, the defeat of the beast and the false prophet, and their immediate judgment in the lake of fire.
This leads into the millennial reign — a thousand years where Satan is bound.
🔒 Satan Bound — Then Released
Revelation 20 gives us one of the most critical prophetic revelations in Scripture: Satan is chained for 1,000 years — and then released “for a little while.”
We explore what this “little season” means.
We examine:
The first resurrection
The role of the disciples (as promised in the Gospel of Matthew)
The resurrection described in First Epistle to the Corinthians
The boldness and fire of the Spirit in Acts of the Apostles
We also unpack the difficult verse about “the rest of the dead” and discuss Hades (the abyss) and the final release of Gog and Magog — drawing from prophecy in the Book of Ezekiel.
🔥 Fire from Heaven
When Satan is released, deception spreads again. Nations are gathered. God’s people are surrounded.
Then comes one of the most powerful verses in Scripture:
Fire comes down from heaven and consumes them.
We explore what that fire represents — including Christ revealed in flaming fire as described in the Second Epistle to the Thessalonians — and the fire of truth spoken by Spirit-filled believers.
