God Centered Life

The concepts of sin and being justified by grace as a gift have all become too familiar, like a well-worn teddy bear. Pastor Josh teaches on the dangers of familiarity. We need a fresh insight into the same truth so it hits us anew.

JOY comes from putting Jesus first, then Others, then finally Yourself. So often we put it the other way around. Even for those who are discouraged, joy can be found. Jesus offers complete joy and a pathway to experiencing the reality that is not based on our cirucmstances and that is more than merely happiness.

We tend to live in an honor/shame paradigm. You see it in social media where we watch how many likes we get to see if we're being honored or shamed. But Jesus' mission has been accomplished, and therefore we are secure and we don't need to strive for honor and fight against shame.
