God Centered Life

Pastor Josh teaches that God is trustworthy. We must get out of ourselves and look to God and know that He keeps his promises, is absolutely reliable, and speaks truth.

The best-laid plans of men often go awry. This applies to everything from dinner plans to bigger issues. But what about those times when you feel that something God promised to you hasn't come about? God hasn't really let you down because His character is reliable and He has a bigger plan.

The challenging of properly defining ourselves is universal. This issue of what it really means to be humble is so important, misconstrued, and difficult to get right. Pastor Josh discusses humility.

The identity we have as God's creation, and who He has made us to be in Christ defines our aspirations and dreams. We become who He has designed us to be. That is the core of humility.

Sometimes we think of the Christian life as, "I bought the ticket; I'm going to heaven," but that's such a limited view. When you become a Christian, you enter into His kingdom and while you're still in the world with its battles, now you have a purpose and someone to live for.

Guilt is all about the past. Maybe you feel stuck or you can't get over something you did. But redemption is all about the future, and the end of this Psalm finishes with hope.
