There’s a difference between knowing something about yourself… and actually living like it’s true.
In this episode, Cortney brings the conversation full circle—exploring what it really looks like to own your gifts.
Not in a loud or self-focused way.
But in a grounded, steady way where you stop minimizing what’s already true about you.
Because when you begin to own how you’re wired:
This is about moving from awareness → alignment → action.
💭 Reflection question:
Where am I still downplaying what I know is true about me… or waiting for permission I don’t actually need?
If this week’s episode had you thinking, “Okay… I can see this in my life,” you don’t have to sort through it on your own.
I’m currently opening space for the Discover Your God-Given Gifts coaching experience through May 31.

Hello Beloved 💛
In today’s little bonus-style voice note, I’m sharing the story of a woman from this community who recently walked through the Discover Your God-Given Gifts coaching experience with me.
Together, we explored what it looks like to stop trying to “fix” yourself… and instead begin understanding the way God intentionally designed you with more compassion, clarity, and grace.
Inside this episode, we talk about:
✨ the exhaustion of constantly trying to do everything “right”
✨ feeling like you need to explain or apologize for how you process life
✨ why so many women quietly believe they need to become “less” of themselves
✨ how understanding your God-given design can bring freedom and peace
✨ the beauty of ongoing reflection and supportive conversation after moments of insight
One of my favorite moments from this conversation:
“Oh… maybe there’s nothing wrong with the way God created me after all.”
Beloved, if you’ve been feeling stretched thin, second-guessing yourself, or longing for more clarity and ease in this season… I hope this episode encourages you.

Have you ever had a moment where you knew something… and then immediately second-guessed it?
In this episode, Cortney explores the tension between what you already sense and the tendency to override it while searching for a “better” or more certain answer.
Because the truth is—you probably know yourself more than you think.
You already notice what drains you.
What supports you.
What fits—and what doesn’t.
But instead of trusting that, it’s easy to look outside yourself and start from scratch.
This is a gentle invitation to pay attention to what you already know—and to begin partnering with God in a way that actually fits how He designed you.
💭 Reflection question:
What am I already noticing about myself or my situation… that I keep second-guessing or pushing aside?

Have you ever done something that feels completely normal to you… and then someone points it out like it’s something special?
In this episode, Cortney explores the kinds of gifts that often go unnoticed—the ones that don’t come with titles, recognition, or obvious labels.
These aren’t small things.
They’re often the exact ways you’re loving and serving others every single day—without even realizing it.
This is a gentle invitation to stop overlooking what comes naturally to you and start recognizing it for what it is.
💬 Reflection question:
What do people tend to come to me for… and what do I naturally do, even when no one asks?
If you’re realizing, “I don’t actually know what my gifts are” or “I think I’ve been overlooking them,” the God-Given Gifts Chat is a simple, supportive place to start.
It’s a 1:1 conversation where we look at your real life and begin naming what’s already there—so you can see it clearly and start using it more intentionally.

Have you ever stepped into a new season of life and found yourself wondering… why does this feel heavier than I expected?
In this episode, Cortney shares a personal story about transitioning into a new role and realizing—years later—just how much that shift impacted her, without her fully naming it at the time.
Because when your life changes, it’s not that you stop being who you are…
it’s that you don’t always know how you fit into this new season yet.
This is a compassionate invitation to notice what’s already there—how you’re already showing up in ways that feel like you—and begin to see how your God-given design still fits, even if it looks different now.
If you’ve been feeling a little off, unseen, or unsure of where you fit… this one is for you.
And… If you’re in that space of “I don’t know how I fit here anymore,” that’s exactly what we sort through in the God-Given Gifts Chat. We take what feels unclear and help you see how you already show up—so you can live it more fully in this season. https://coffeechatsandyogamats.com/giftchat

In this mini episode, I’m sharing from a very real, very present place—what it looks like to navigate a low capacity season without turning on yourself.
Because if you’re anything like me, this is where the “shoulds” get loud…
“I should be doing more.”
“I’m not doing enough.”
“I’m doing too much of the wrong things.”
It’s exhausting.
Whether you’re walking through illness, caregiving, a full family season, or just a lot of life at once—you’re not alone in this tension.
In this episode, I’m sharing a few gentle, grounding practices that have been helping me come back to reality, clarity, and truth:
✨ Naming your reality (instead of pushing past it)
✨ Clarifying what actually matters in this season
✨ Re-anchoring in truth and partnering with God in the middle of it
✨ Releasing “shoulds” that come from trying to live like someone else
This isn’t about doing it perfectly.
It’s about meeting yourself where you actually are—and finding grace there.
If you’re in a low (or just very full) capacity season, my hope is that you leave this episode with a little more clarity, a little less pressure, and permission to move forward in a way that actually fits your life.

Have you ever had that quiet feeling like… something’s off—but you can’t quite explain why?
In this episode, we’re unpacking three subtle signs that something might be out of alignment in your life—not in a dramatic, everything-is-wrong kind of way, but in the small, easy-to-miss ways that often get overlooked.
From not being able to name what’s wrong… to things feeling heavier than they should… to inspiration quietly turning into pressure—this is a gentle invitation to get curious instead of critical.
Because sometimes the problem isn’t you.
If you’ve been feeling that low-level tension or questioning yourself more than usual, this episode will help you pause, notice, and begin to understand what might actually be going on.
💬Reflection question:
Which of these stood out to you most?
Just notice — no need to fix anything yet.
If this resonated and you’re realizing, “I don’t actually know what fits me” or “I don’t know how I’m wired,” that’s exactly what the God-Given Gifts Chat is for.
This is a simple, one-on-one conversation where we help you sort through what you’re already noticing and begin to put language to it.

Because it’s easy to hear “use your gifts” or “walk in your purpose”… but what does that really look like in everyday life?

Have you ever had a moment where you finally understand yourself better… but nothing in your life actually changes?
In this episode, we’re talking about the gap between knowing your God-given gifts and actually living them out. Because awareness is powerful—but it doesn’t automatically create new rhythms.
Using a simple (and sweet) Daniel Tiger moment, we explore why insight alone isn’t enough—and how you can begin to take small, life-giving steps toward using your gifts in your real, everyday life.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in the “I know this… but I’m not doing it” space, this one is for you.

What if the goal of understanding your personality isn’t to endlessly analyze yourself… but to understand your design well enough that it simply becomes part of the way you live?
In this wrap-up episode of the temperament series, we’re talking about what integration actually looks like.
❎ Not constant self-analysis.
❎ Not obsessing over your strengths.
❎ Not trying to optimize yourself all day long.
But becoming so aware of how God wired you that it starts shaping your rhythms, your choices, your relationships, and your filters in a natural, life-giving way.
In this episode, I share:
• Why understanding your wiring should eventually feel less like analysis and more like instinct
• A personal example of how this has shown up in my own life
• The story of a Beloved who moved from scattered and overextended to more settled and steady
• How self-understanding can help you make clearer decisions about your time, energy, and responsibilities
• Why the goal isn’t to think about your wiring forever — but to understand it well enough that you can stop thinking about it
If this temperament series has helped you see yourself differently, I hope this episode helps you take the next step: integration.
You don’t have to figure yourself out all alone.
A God-Given Gifts Chat is a simple Voxer-based conversation where we explore your wiring, your current season, and one aligned next step you can actually carry into daily life.
❎ No pressure.
❎ No huge life overhaul.
❎ Just insight you can use.
