Psalm 75 is not only a perfect blueprint for what worship is but also a strong statement concerning God’s sovereignty. It is God who lifts up and it is God who judges. At His appointed time He will bring this era of the gospel offer to a close. In short, God has the last word. It is time to quit playing games with God. These reflections bring us into the new year — 2023.
