Hi, my loves! For whatever reason I decided to read 1
Corinthians today and I learned so much. So here I go more in depth over the part in 1 Corinthians where Paul explains how the gospel sounds like foolishness to non-believers. With the help of Paul’s writings, I go over how we do not know God through wisdom, we have a relationship with God by BELIEVING. But the gospel does not sound like foolishness to believers anymore
because we have the Holy Spirit. Understanding the Bible and discerning the Lord’s voice is only done through the Holy Spirit.
So, what is the Holy Spirit, how do we obtain it, and how does it work?

Hi, my loves! Today would have been my father’s 50th
birthday which means today I will be talking about his favorite verse.
A verse that describes Jesus, the one we follow, perfectly (in my opinion). But before I can get into his favorite verse, I must tell the story of Lazarus. Within this story, Jesus mentions a parable about light and darkness. But does he mean literal darkness and light? So, my challenge for you today as you listen to the story of Lazarus is to ask yourself if you walk in the darkness or the light that Jesus refers to.
