James Baldwin once wrote, “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” When talking about justice, there are two things that the Church in America cannot afford to ignore: our history of racism in America and the Church’s complicity that helped racism thrive. This week, we take a sobering look at these two things as we explore how the Gospel calls the Church to respond.
