The only man who never makes a mistake is the man who never does anything. Theodore Roosevelt said that, and how true it is. Since we all fail from time to time, it becomes necessary for us to learn from those experiences, and respond appropriately when it happens. As we continue our study of First Samuel today on Abounding Grace, we find David in an embarrassing situation. Though he fails miserably, he learned from it, and God granted Him well over 40 years of ministry after the incident. There’s some valuable lessons in all of this for us, so let’s join pastor Ed Taylor and discover there is hope after personal failure.
