The massacre of 59 people on the Las Vegas strip has affected all of us, even people of faith.  So where is God is in midst of all of this evil?  He is here.  He does care.  He works through our church through the guidance of its leaders.  He works through His holy word that inspires us to preach the gospel with everything we have.  And He calls us to more, even the fiance of a shooting victim whose tragic end was on display for the world to see.  Join John for a very special episode of God On The Move! 

In one of John's favorite readings, Paul tells the Philippians about why Jesus was the humble King.  Why is humility something that is hard for humans but so divinely mastered by Christ?  Hear how one man's humility lead him to change his radical ways and hear how the Church through Pope Francis is trying to open our eyes to the plight of the refugee.  Plus an encouraging final thought to get your week started out right!

God doesn't just work in the good times.  He works in difficult times as well.  Today, we tell you how the healing power of Jesus is as much alive today as it was when He cured the sick in today's Gospel.  We also hear how His healing power helps bring the mass to an Iraqi town for the first time in 3 years.  And we hear how His healing power inspires us to help our brothers and sisters in need in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.  Don't miss it!
