For as bad of shape our country is in the church is in worse shape. I cant pray for the country because I must first pray for the church. If things have to get far worse in this country to get the church to do what it should be doing than that is what we should be praying for.

We often hear that "the road to is paved with good intentions," and it's true that good intentions alone are not enough. However, we too often abuse the cliché as an excuse to dismiss focusing on intentions at all.
