God Wants To Talk To You

Today we read from Revelation Chapters 20 and 21. We see that God will be here to Judge ALL creation at the end times and after the Great Books are Opened and the Bad are tossed in to the Lake of Fire ( Hell) The New Jerusalem will come down from heaven and all those who were written in the Lambs Book of Life will dwell with God living amongst us forever. The end of pain , suffering, fear, and death.

Today we read a motivating letter from St. Paul to the Philippians written from a man in jail, facing execution and absolutely unafraid! He instructs the church how to live fully in Christ.

Today we read from the short Book of Jude and and talk about the very insightful instructionit teaches us.

Today we go over a bunch of scripture about Obedience. Jesus being the Ultimate example but many many bible passages instructing us to be obedient to Gods Word. Then we tie all of it together with a recent scandal involving the Catholic Church here in the United States and one of it's Priest that has set the internet on fire.

Today we read from the book of Proverbs and talk about Wisdom. Wisdom that cries out for many but few will hear it, and the consequences of ignoring it.

Today we read from Genesis 39 and talk about Joseph running from a Seductress who was trying to get him to commit a horrible sin. We also read from Corinthians and 2nd Timothy about resisting temptation and sin and are reminded of how weak the flesh is and how running away from a tempting situation is a great thing to do.

Today we Read from Isaiah 5 about a Vineyard that was expertly prepared but never bore Good Wine. Then we read from Matthew 21 about a man that makes a nice Vineyard that rents it's out and the people renting it refuse to give him his just fruits from the Vineyard. Jesus and Isaiah both tell us how the owner of these Vineyards is God and he is not happy with the people of the Vineyard.

Today we read from John Chapters 5 and 6 about Jesus being the Bread of Life. He explains the manna from Heaven in the time of Moses was bread from heaven to sustain life but the bread that is his flesh will provide eternal life. We also look back at what Jesus was talking about when he tells the people that Moses wrote about him.

Today we talk about Tepidity. Something that we all should take account of in our faith journey on a regular basis.
