God Will Get Vengeance For You
Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. All of us have been on the receiving end of some nasty, hurtful, and destructive things done to us by other people. And some part of us craves justice. But Solomon has some counsel for us. We are not to try to get even with those who have harmed us. Instead, we are to place our trust in God to get justice for us. He promises he will. He sees the destruction, he sees the betrayal, he sees our loss, and he has all of his divine power at hand to make things right. And he will, in his time. He has his own timetable for dispensing justice, and his own methods. What he wants from us is a willingness to trust his wisdom, power, and timing and not take matters into our own hands. As Solomon says, “Do not say, ‘I will repay evil”; wait for the Lord and he will deliver you.” God is as good as his word, which makes that a promise to claim.
