Godcaster 2

“MK Confidential” starts on the corner of East 34th Street and East Roosevelt Avenue, on a drizzly evening in Tacoma, Washington. It’s Saturday, February 16th, 2002. Lee Boyd Malvo is two days shy of turning seventeen. He’s about to take a life for the first time, at the prompting of his surrogate father. He will struggle to scrub himself clean from the murder.

Megyn Kelly charts Malvo’s path from Jamaica to Antigua to the United States, and traces how a faraway father and abusive mother primed him to partner with John Allen Muhammad. As a child, Malvo was passed around from house to house, maintaining honor roll grades despite an unsteady home life. When Malvo’s mother leaves for America — using papers forged by Muhammad — Malvo is utterly alone. Muhammad comes to his aid, and the two bond as adopted father and son.

Muhammad clears the way for Malvo to come to the States. When Muhammad loses custody of his own children, Malvo goes to him. He does exactly what the soldier says, including learning to kill with precision. This is Episode 3 of the Beltway Snipers story.

Fourteen people face charges in an alleged cocaine trafficking operation tied to two Penn State fraternities, with prosecutors accusing students of bringing kilos of cocaine into State College for distribution. Disney and ABC sue the Trump administration, accusing the FCC of violating their First Amendment rights by targeting eight Disney-owned stations for an unusually early license review. The defense in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial presents testimony about her mental state before and after the killings, including claims that she experienced dissociation and later reported hearing a male voice directing her to kill her children and herself.  A mysterious company claims it fabricated political polls in Los Angeles and Wisconsin, calling the operation was a “social experiment” as questions remain about who was behind it and whether prediction markets were the real target.

Neurosurgeon Dr. Lee Warren, shares insights about the powerful connection between neuroscience and the Christian faith. He explains how our thoughts can physically reshape our brains. By intentionally choosing what we think about—especially gratitude, truth, and hope—we can form new neural pathways that influence our emotions, behaviors, and even future generations. Drawing from personal tragedy, including the loss of his son, Dr. Warren shares how people can better heal from trauma, anxiety, and destructive patterns. The conversation highlights practical ways believers can renew their minds, strengthen relationships, and raise resilient children by aligning their thinking with God’s design for human flourishing.

“MK Confidential” begins with a late-night intrusion. A woman lies frozen in bed as she hears, then senses, then sees a man approach her bedroom. She shuts her eyes and remains absolutely still, barely daring to breathe. The man stands at the foot of the bed, watching her.  This man was not an intruder, in the proper sense; he has a key to the house, and he is her husband. He leaves. Two years later, he will take out his rage on the streets of greater D.C. His wife will come to believe he orchestrates this chaos to cover her murder — and, she’s not the only one.

Megyn Kelly goes back to the beginning of the man who led the D.C. sniper attacks. John Allen Muhammad was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as John Allen Williams. He loses his mom to cancer as a toddler, picks up welding and carpentry as a National Guardsman, and fathers two children os a young man. It is not until he meets Mildred Rozell, however, that John learns how to read.

Meanwhile, the sun rises on a new day in the snipers’ reign of terror over the nation’s capital, then another. The attackers claim more lives and shoot a school-age child in the stomach. Investigators link the shootings to the same .223 rifle, but who’s behind it? The shooters leave a hint, in a message on the back of a tarot card: “Call Me God.” This is Episode 2 of the Beltway Snipers story.
