Today we are talking to a dear friend and author about her latest book. Rev. Patricia Robin Woodruff is an ordained minister, a Wiccan priestess of Stone Circle Wicca (USA), and a spirit-initiated Lemko bosorka. She has her Masters degree from the University of Metaphysical Sciences and obtained her PhD this past year becoming a Philosopher of Metaphysical Theology. Robin has traveled to sacred sites around the world from the Amazon jungle, to the 6,000-year-old Goddess temples of Malta, to sacred springs in Poland and holy caves in Slovenia.
Patricia Robin Woodruff’s Slavic books include:
Woodruff’s Guide to Slavic Deities which has over 80 black and white illustrations. This well researched book is backed by over 3,000 sources that Robin has read.
Slavic Moon Magic Meditations, a small book that tells you the Slavic names of the moon (rather than using the Native American “Wolf Moon” or “Strawberry Moon”) and some thoughts about them that will let you explore your own life throughout the year.
The Prince with the Golden Hand: Book 1 of Baba’s Secrets
A young reader book that is actually packed with lots of information. A grandmother, Baba, tells her grandchildren a Slavic fairy tale but then she explains all the Pagan lore hidden in the story. Each book of this series will include information on a magical herb and a recipe as well.
Today we have the moon and planetary positions, the goddess of the day which is Kali, the stone of the day which is Bloodstone, the herb Cleavers and it's uses, a little bit about the environment as an update and that will wrap it up for this episode. Hope you are all safe and healthy and doing well. Stay home! Stay safe! Stay healthy! Namaste'!
Today is the New Moon! Happy New Moon! Today we are talking about the goddess Tiamat, the herb evening primrose, the heliodor crystal, a book release and some reflections on current times and the slowing down of lifestyles with some thoughts on what to do to handle the crisis. I am sending positive vibes to everyone out there. Stay safe and blessings to you and yours! Namaste'!
YAY! Anchor has finally fixed the website and it is resolved so we are back to having studio-quality sound recording for the podcast and in celebration, I recorded tomorrow's episode a bit early and am releasing it early as well. I hope you are all staying safe at home and are healthy and have all the resources you need to stay warm and fed. Today's episode has our goddess for the day which is Milda, our herb for the day which is arnica, our stone for the day which is bronzite, along with a couple of environmental news articles and a new book release of a tarot deck that is focused on inclusiveness to LGBTQ people. Namaste'! Have a wonderful weekend!
