  • Leading The Way Radio Podcast - Post Victory Doldrums

Even the strongest believers can grow weary. In this powerful message from How God Works, Dr. Michael Youssef examines the life of Elijah, who went from a great victory on Mount Carmel to running in fear from Queen Jezebel.

Overwhelmed and exhausted, Elijah wanted to give up. But God did not abandon him. Instead, the Lord provided rest, nourishment, and the reassurance of His presence.

Dr. Youssef reminds us that seasons of discouragement do not have to lead to defeat. God can restore our strength, renew our faith, and prepare us for continued service.

    This episode calls believers to:

    • Trust God through fear and exhaustion,
    • Reject self-pity and Satan's accusations,
    • Listen for God's voice in difficult seasons,
    • Find renewed strength through prayer and surrender,
    • Keep serving Christ with faith and obedience.

When you feel like giving up, remember that God is not finished with you. The same Lord who restored Elijah can strengthen you to keep walking in faith.

Saturn’s thousands of rings are the most spectacular of any known planet. They’re made of ice, dust, and rocks ranging in size from a sand grain to a building. The rings and their gaps are so stable each has its own name. And the rings are very intricate—some are even braided!

Many astronomers think these rings formed billions of years ago from the debris of a crashed asteroid or that Saturn’s tidal forces tore apart one of its satellites, arranging the debris into rings. But the rings are way too intricate for either of those origin stories.

These beautiful rings were handmade by God.

    • Your Daily Bible Verse - Does God Have a Plan for Your Future? (Jeremiah 29:11)

Today's Bible Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11

Are you wondering what God has planned for your future? When life feels uncertain, prayers seem unanswered, or your circumstances don’t match your expectations, it can be difficult to trust that God is leading you somewhere good. Jeremiah 29:11 offers a powerful reminder that God has plans to give His people hope and a future. But this promise was originally given to the Israelites during their exile in Babylon, a season of hardship and waiting. Their story reminds us that God’s plans are not always fulfilled on our preferred timeline, yet we can continue to trust His faithfulness even when we cannot see what lies ahead.

    • Haven Today - Can Suffering Help Us Grow?
The Apostle Paul said the Lord had allowed a “thorn in the flesh” not to only enter, but remain in his life. It’s a detail the Holy Spirit led him to write in the Bible because it’s a message we need to hear and learn from. In this episode, David Wollen asks pastor and author Ste Casey about why the Lord allows thorns in our lives and how we they can help us grow in Christ.
