Title: The Dangers of Sexual Sin

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6: 12-20

We must live a holy life, acknowledging the danger of sexual sin, by responding to this danger in three ways.

1. Stop thinking wrongly about sex. (v.12-14)

Error #1- “God will forgive sexual sin, so it’s no big deal.”

Error #2- “Sexual activity is just satisfying an appetite.”

Error #3- “It’s my body. I can do what I want with it.”

2. Start thinking rightly about sex. (v.15-17)

A. We are part of Christ’s body. (v. 15)

B. Sexual activity makes two into one. (v. 16-17)

3. Act rightly in your body which is God’s. (v.18-20)

A. Run from sexual sin. (v. 18)

B. Glorify God by stewarding your body and spirit. (v. 19-20)
