Taraka wanted to cheat the gods. He wanted to be defeated only by a child born to Shiva,the destroyer. The catch is that Shiva was a hermit with no interest in settling down and having a family. He was mourning the disappearance of his beloved Sati.
Taraka, emboldened with the wish granted, captured and imprisoned Indra and the gods. How can the gods defeat Taraka and get back their kingdom?
