I believe that a lot of Believers are being duped into a false sense of spiritual peace believing that they can simply "grab" a Bible verse promise out of the Scriptures and 'apply' to their lives...regardless of how they're living their spiritual life!   Brethren, biblical promises of God that are directed at His faithful children...are not promises intended for His unfaithful children!   Now, it's God's desire that all His children would strive to walk in a manner which pleases Him...so that He could do for all His children as He promised. Unfortunately, many of His children are NOT doing as the Lord commands them...which in turn keeps the Lord from fulfilling His promises to them!  
Brethren, it's a real simply spiritual formula!  From the beginning of the Scriptures unto the end of Scriptures the Lord ALWAYS tells His people: IF you DO as I say...then I will do as I promise!!!
