My name is Margitha Gustafsson and I belong to the Bahai community in Lund in the south of Sweden,
I’ m sitting with a cup of coffee and reflecting over God and the essens of God and then I came over a text from Abdu’l Bahá one of the central figures in the Bahai religion.
I will read this to you
“ God’s Grace is like the rain that comes down from heaven: the water is not bounded by the limitations of form, yet on whatever place it pourers down, it taketh on limitations- dimensions, appearance, shape- according to the characteristics of that place. In a square pool, the water, previously unconfined, become the a square....The rain itself hath no geometry, no
no limits, no form, but it taketh on one form or another, according to the restrictions of its vessel. In the same way, the Holy Essence of the Lord God is boundless, immeasurable, but His graces and splendors become finite in the creatures, because of their limitations...”
This is really something to reflect on, eh and it also make us responsible for our own , eh, dimension I could say.
Do I want to be a Square?
Ore where are my limits? How can I revive this boundless grace, like the rain, rain flowing into a river, the river flow to a sea. But how can I as a human being shape myself?
That’s a very interesting question to think about in this time of my afternoon coffee.
And as a way I will put on a nice music and hope you all will reflect as I still will do.
